Murder is never pleasant, and less so when we´re talking about the victim being a beautiful woman. Detective Ferenz Kovacs is in charge of investigating a crime committed in Budapest. The corpse belongs to a stunning Rumanian woman who had previously reported the theft of a very valuable diamond, which was a present from her husband, Mr. Cartwright.
