On one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, a couple discover the exhausted body of Bernard, an amateur navigator who had rented a catamaran to sail between the islands with his wife. But, on the high seas, they are attacked by pirates who throw Bernard to the sharks and kidnap his wife.
